At Valued Travels, we understand the importance of providing clear and transparent information to our valued travelers. This document outlines our booking terms and policies to ensure that you are aware of all the necessary details for making informed decisions about traveling with us. We adhere to the philosophy of flexibility and strive to offer favorable conditions, prioritizing your convenience and peace of mind. Whether you are planning an immersive cultural experience or an adventure trip, we are committed to providing exceptional service and unforgettable memories.

Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that I voluntarily apply to participate in the trips specified on this application form (or trips I may subsequently transfer to). I voluntarily choose to join this trip or adventure, and I understand that the foreign and/or remote areas visited during this trip involve numerous risks and dangers, including but not limited to: acts of God, civil unrest, terrorism; roads, trails, hotels, vehicles, boats, or other means of transportation that are not operated or maintained to standards typical of developed countries; high altitudes; accidents or illness without immediate access to evacuation or medical supplies; lack of adequate medical care once provided; unprepared physical exertion; consumption of alcoholic beverages; or negligence by Valued Travels or other parties (excluding willful misconduct or fraud). I recognize that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel partly stem from the inherent risks associated with the trip and activities, which exceed the safety standards typically recognized in home or work environments, and that these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, which is why I voluntarily choose to participate.

I hereby agree to take responsibility for my own welfare and accept the risks of delays, unforeseen incidents, illness, injury, emotional trauma, or death.

Liability Waiver

I acknowledge that all trip costs provided by Valued Travels are based on the travelers' execution of this waiver and assumption of all risks. Therefore, as legal consideration for being permitted to participate in this trip, I hereby release Valued Travels Ltd. and its agents and employees from any and all liability arising from my participation in this trip or adventure. I agree that this waiver is legally binding on myself, all minors traveling with me, my heirs, successors, and legal representatives; I willingly assume all risks of travel to the maximum extent permitted by law and release Valued Travels Ltd. from any and all liability.

Acknowledgment and Voluntary Execution

I have read and fully understand the contents and legal consequences of this agreement, as well as all terms under the "Booking Terms" heading, particularly concerning cancellation and refund policies, liability limitations, and responsibilities undertaken by participants. I understand that this is a legally binding and enforceable contract and I voluntarily sign it.

Itinerary and Quote Validity

To the best of our knowledge, all information in this itinerary is accurate; however, please note that our itineraries may and do change. This may be due to our efforts to improve our travel offerings or for logistical reasons, such as changes to train/flight schedules or government policies. Valued Travels will make every effort to inform you of any changes, but we do not assume any liability for any changes made to published itineraries. Prices listed are calculated based on costs and exchange rates at the time of inquiry. Prices are not guaranteed until booked.

Booking

Tourist Breach of Contract:

Participants in the tour must pay a deposit of 30% of the product price at the time of booking and pay the remaining balance before the contract is signed. If a participant cancels their trip before the start of the itinerary, a portion of the deposit will be deducted as a penalty based on the timing of the cancellation.

Other Important Matters

Due to reasons beyond our control (such as travel restrictions, natural disasters, or political instability), Valued Travels reserves the right to cancel or postpone any trip (including guaranteed departures). If such circumstances occur within 30 days of departure, Valued Travels will fully refund any non-refundable costs incurred by the customer up to that point.

Insurance

For all products except short trips, we will provide basic travel accident insurance as a gift, rather than purchasing it on behalf of our guests. The insurance coverage only applies to the itinerary of the product. If you believe the coverage amount does not meet your needs, you may purchase higher coverage insurance on your own.

Passport and Visa

When traveling with Valued Travels, you must carry a valid passport and obtain the necessary visa. Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct visa. Valued Travels is not responsible if you are denied entry due to inadequate visa documentation. Valued Travels will provide the necessary permits required for your travels within China (such as Tibet permits), but this cannot be guaranteed. Should the application be rejected by government authorities, Valued Travels reserves the right to cancel the trip.

Travel Photography

Valued Travels reserves the right to take and publish photos during any trips or partial travel activities. By booking with Valued Travels, members of the travel group agree to allow their image to be used in such photos; if travel group members do not wish for their photos to be used, they will be required to inform the group leader of their identity at the start of the trip.

Traveler's Responsibility

Travelers are responsible for selecting travel products that match their abilities and interests. To assist you, we have categorized all products based on type and destination. We are also happy to discuss the trip with you. Travelers have the responsibility to maintain their health adequately for travel. Travelers are responsible for preparing for the trip by reviewing the itinerary and pre-departure information package sent by Valued Travels, and for bringing appropriate clothing and equipment as advised.

Valued Travels' Responsibility

Valued Travels will always strive to provide the best possible service. Valued Travels organizes, promotes, and sells travel programs composed of certain travel services, including but not limited to ground transportation, short trips, and accommodations, which Valued Travels purchases or reserves from various suppliers. The agents providing travel services for Valued Travels' travel programs are independent contractors and not agents or employees of Valued Travels. Therefore, Valued Travels' liability is strictly limited. Valued Travels is not liable for the intentional or negligent acts and/or omissions of such agents, transportation and accommodation service providers, or their respective employees or representatives, including but not limited to failure to provide, or providing inadequate or insufficient service. All coupons, receipts, and tickets are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers. By using the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that neither Valued Travels nor any representative of Valued Travels shall be liable to you or to anyone traveling with you for any accidents, injuries, expenses, property loss, or personal loss arising from any accommodation, transportation, or other travel services, nor for any accidents, injuries, expenses, property loss, or personal loss directly or indirectly caused by any events or circumstances beyond Valued Travels' control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, war, vehicle defects, equipment failures, strikes, theft, or delays or cancellations or changes in itinerary or schedule. If you leave home before the departure date of the group, Valued Travels is not responsible for any expenses incurred during your trip preparations (e.g., non-refundable prepaid airfare, visa fees, equipment, medical expenses, etc.) or any necessary additional travel arrangements.

Claims

Any disputes arising from the services provided by Valued Travels shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. The claiming party must notify the other party of the dispute within 30 days after the service has ended, with a dated notice in English stating the nature of the dispute. If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days after the notice is sent, the claiming party may submit the dispute to the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission for final arbitration by a specialized arbitration tribunal in China in accordance with the arbitration rules of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission.
